Another Day another 50 Cents

As my old boss would say "another day another 50 cents." The only thing that is different between then and now is that I am getting paid real money and I heard yesterday from another new coworker that if you are working 70 percent of what you used to work at your old job you're working too hard. This job amazes me. I love it. Well I gotta go. C ya.

Something new

I know it's been a while since I posted and I'm gonna try and post at least once daily from now on, and there is no reason for me not to. All it would take is a minute. Well anyway, I went to the UNR/UNLV football game yesterday and it was a great game. Last minute scoring, rivalry game, what else could you ask for in a football game? It was a last second game, when UNR won the field got stormed by the college kids, I know it's wrong, but hey, we all have one game a year that means more than others, and as long as no one got hurt in the process. Also recently I read a wonderful book called "Millionaire Republican" by Wayne Allyn Root and I think it got me to think differently overall. He is an excellent writer. I mean yeah I am a Democrat but hey he might have gotten me to switch parties back to Republican soon. I want to be rich and that's that. I will do anything as long as it doesn't hurt anyone or get me put in jail to become free of my job. Well I gotta go. Thanks for reading hope you have a good day.

News

I know it's been a while, life just doesn't slow down when you start a new job. I started at TMCC on Thursday of this past week. Good job, first one I think I've ever had. Anyway I am still in training at the moment, since I have only worked two days so far. Don't have an area yet, still learning the ropes. They clean way different then what I am used to. Way cleaner than what I am used to cleaning up after. This is a college not a high school. Well I'm gonna let ya go.

Been a while again...

Well, I know it's been a while again, what can I say, I've been busy. Anyway recently I had an interview with the State of Nevada at Truckee Meadows Community College. Not thinking much I would get it I did my best. Well yesterday low and behold I called them back after they called me and told me that I was selected. Day position, 5am to 1pm, Sunday thru Thursday. Anyway today I go back to TMCC to see when they would like me to start so I can put my notice into Reed High and so I can meet my boss. This is going to be something totally new to me as in the hours, but I used to dream of having a day job so I wouldn't miss so much of life, now here's my chance. I am excited. It is the same job I am doing at Reed High, custodian except day hours not swing hours. I'll get more info when I get there today. See ya.

Good News!

Good news! I got past the first interview for the state! Yay! I am on the finalist list. I really hope I get it. It would be such a relief getting away from the pathetic politics of the Washoe County School District. For example, at Reed High where I work we have a couple of old people who work there. Well anyway, the boss there doesn't expect the same out of them as me. I don't agree with that at all. If you are working the same job as me you should have to do the same things as me. Dirty politics. Another person there is being put into an area where they are going to try to get him fired. I find that so f$%^ed up it isn't funny at all. This person is blind in one eye and only has a couple years left. I see this person do more work then one other person and they haven't tried to fire this person yet. I am going to help this person out. No matter what I am going to make sure that this person doesn't get fired. I am going to do the good thing. Well gotta go.
